Katie Arcara is an illustrator, graphic designer, and generally nerdy curious human.

Katie Makes with a mildly concerning passion for storytelling and research, served with a generous twist of whimsy. She is a little bit obsessed with creative exploration. Like, really… just calm down, already.

When Katie isn’t making you may find her petting her dog, on a long walk with her dog, curled up on the front porch with her dog, or probably eating snacks.

Katie has a BFA in graphic design with a minor in illustration, and has been professionally making since 2010. She lives and works in Buffalo, NY with her husband (and their new dog Leonard).

Surprisingly, despite an epic standoff with fierce perfectionism – plus a freshly uncovered phobia of writing personal biographies - Katie is currently accepting inquiries. She appreciates you taking the time for her best attempt thus far.
